Leather Holster Templates - It is hard enough to learn and make your own patterns but it is so great when you can get a helping hand to start making quality holsters. After making my first holster, i modified my template slightly so that i had the belt slots at better angles on the wings, made the holster go a bit higher on the slide, and made enough room for 2 belt slots. Before anyone asks about cutting the knives are tiny so aren't suitable for cutting leather, i did managed to cut 1.5mm thick leather once but definately wouldn't try anything thicker. Thank you for offering all these patterns for free to the leather working community. Looks pretty simple to make your own, all you need is a radio or wooden copy to size it. Leather gloves pattern (casual or work).

It appears to be only three pieces of leather the strap in back is doubled for a belt loop maybe and is also the bottom of the holster riveted in the front the sides are one strap wrapped around the radio and sewn to the back strap, a leather strap for the snap set and your good to go.

We have had a lot of blowing snow yesterday and today, almost a blizzard in northern ohio. Tha's like $1 fer the front, $1 fer the back, and $.95 fer the instructions. The flatbed machine they do would cut through thicker leather but are over $5000 i think, definately not something i could afford they use an air suction system.
