I'm looking to be able to send a seasoned technician out int the field with the resources to invoice and collect on sight. I know there are still clowns out there bidding 3 or less but they have a $25/hr guy do it witha $15/hr helper or two, so they are making some money and only on big tracts so they have quantity.

Houses could be bid at sq ft, give or take electrical appliances. A single gang box is one point, a three gang box is 3 points etc. Try to get someones else's bid and you have a point of reference. I am currently looking at a project that is design/build and i am stumped on how to put together a bid that looks professional and that looks like i know what i am doing. If you get every job you bid on you are too low. I thought my update discs were program discs plus updates so i would throw out the old and keep the 2 current discs.

I was able to put together a proposal based off of this information, so all of the electrical contractors that were bidding the project were compared apples to apples.
