11Oz Mug Template
11Oz Mug Template - Hi, i'm just starting out with sublimation and sawgrass creativestudio and was wondering what is the best template to choose from creativestudio that is suitable for use with the mdp 11oz mugs with the orca coating. After you print the mug press template, do they have to have 1/2 inch at the top and bottom and is it good to use scissors or something else to cut the paper? Has anyone got any mug printing size templates i could download or the dimensions i will need for 11oz & 15oz mugs. To check the width, place a piece of string around the mug from where you can get a decent print by the handle and wrap it round the other side, then measure the string. Once you've done your artwork then flatten the image, create a new document, say a4 in landscape (297mm x 210mm x 300dpi) and drag the finished artwork into the new document, position it so you can get another printed on the same. I am looking for a template with guide areas that would make it easier for me to line up when printing a mug with a photo on one side and and another photo or logo on the other when i am trying to print my own based on dimensions i found the image is off centre and not totally viewable when holding mug by handle, can somebody please help?
Cut the printed design down so you only have a couple of mm border. To check the width, place a piece of string around the mug from where you can get a decent print by the handle and wrap it round the other side, then measure the string. All you need to do is create a new file, custom settings at, say 95mm x 220mm x 300dpi and you have your template. Also can anyone send me any links regarding temperatures and heating times. I've seen videos of templates on youtube, where the template has 3 or 4 areas in the template where you can drag a picture into and other areas to.
